ABOUT IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the Collegeplays a vital role in planning, guiding and monitoring quality assurance and quality enhancement activities in the institution.IQAC monitors various aspects related to the internal quality and guides the departments for quality initiatives, maintains academic coordination, promotes research among teachers and students and assures adequate infrastructural facilities and suggests ways in the development of the institution as a centre of academic excellence.

To improve and sustain the qualitative potential of academic and administrative performance of the institution, through continuous monitoring and guidance.

MISSION

• To strength teaching and learning for promoting creative and critical thinking skills through student centered methods.
• To fortify  assessment for skill oriented learning
• To create an awareness and responsibility among students and society on ecology, human values and professional ethics

FUNCTIONS

• Preparations of action plan of the institutions and monitoring its implementation.
• Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guide lines and parameters of NAAC.
• Encourage the teaching staff to refresh their knowledge by attending various workshops, short term courses, OCs and RCs.
• Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the institution.
• Act as Liaison between academic and administration in the institution.
